Rosie Hackett Bridge Launch

In May 2014, Davis Events delivered an exciting opening ceremony to launch the new Rosie Hackett Bridge on Dublin’s River Liffey. The new bridge was purpose built as part of the LUAS Cross City project and was named in named in honour of Rosie Hackett for her dedication to the Irish Trade Union Movement.

Sitting centre on the bridge was a wonderful vintage tram and entertainment was provided by the Civic Union Band. Special guests included Lord Mayor of Dublin and Minister for Transport. After a special ribbon cutting ceremony and plaque unveiling, the bridge was officially open to the public!
