I love the summer time. The festivals, the long evenings, the slightly warmer rain we get in Ireland (that lovely smell when it first falls!). Most of all I love the BBQs. Good food and good company be it friends, family or workmates.

It almost doesn’t matter it’s so windy your paper plates fly off the picnic table (food and all!) or you get sunburned so bad you can’t sleep (worth it!). Once we have the sun, everyone’s in good spirits.

Here’s some amazing Summer BBQ venues in Dublin that I’d love to plan/host an event in (whether it’s my own event or a client’s!);

Radisson Blu St. Helen’s

The Radisson St. Helen’s has one of the biggest, most beautiful outdoor spaces within a 20 minute drive of the city that you’ll find! Boasting 4 acres of land and being able to host anywhere from 50-1,000 people outdoors in their gardens, the possibilities are endless with this massive space!

My mind goes into overdrive thinking of all the amazing things that can be done here!

Horse Show House, Ballsbridge

Madigan’s Square Garden at the Horse Show House has a cool, relaxed vibe in their outdoor space that I really love. Holding up to 300 people depending on their setup, the pallet furniture, permanent stage and outdoor bar all add to the atmosphere of the place. It reminds me of being at a festival right in the heart of the city without the hefty price tag!

They’re currently redoing the space for the summer season and reopening next month. I can’t wait to see what they’ve done!

The Morgan

The Morgan’s penthouse is the perfect place to host a luxury, exclusive BBQ for up to 35 people. It’s Temple Bar location is the perfect place to hold your dinner and drinks before you take on the town!

With such stunning views in a prime location, this space is amazing with it’s innovative decor (check out that caravan on the roof!) and high quality food. This venue is one of dreams for me and hopefully I’ll get to organise something there soon!
