Event planners learn to embrace new life online

We were delighted to see our CEO Paul Davis in the Sunday Independent yesterday. As part of the ever changing events landscape, Paul spoke to the Sunday Independent.

 

The pandemic has changed the corporate event landscape forever. This is according to virtual event experts at Davis Events, who say “there’s no going back” to the old event-planning model.

Paul Davis has a 15-year track record in the industry managing international events and festivals with bands and DJs, including The Chemical Brothers, Fatboy Slim, Madness and The Pogues.

He believes the last 12 months have brought about a paradigm shift in the way businesses and organisations engage and communicate with employees, clients, customers and colleagues.

On Thursday, Davis Events will host a free online session for event professionals, corporate organisations and online influencers to look at new ways of delivering virtual messages, engaging with audiences and using tech. Headliners Vogue Williams, Shane Kinsella of Google, and Glenda Gilson will share how they have embraced tech and virtual events since the pandemic hit.
