Health Safety Authority Farm Safety Zone of the Ploughing Championships 2022

Challenge:
Deliver an informative, educational and engaging zone of activities at the Ploughing Championships 2022, complete with temporary structure and facilities, with the highest safety levels.

The Solution:
Logistics was a key component to the solution to this challenge as transport management and access to the site can be challenging. Davis Events worked closely with suppliers and the National Ploughing Association of Ireland to ensure that the Farm Safety Zone was built quickly and safely without compromise. Our transport teams delivered bespoke branded print and signage, display systems, AV systems etc. Our tight event schedule ensured that items were delivered when required during the build. The marquee and activity area were designed to draw attention and direct attendees towards the activities held which featured demos and speakers.

Indeed – Pride Parade Programme 2022

Challenge:
Deliver a high quality, cohesive programme of Pride themed events to Indeed branch offices across Ireland and America which would engage employees and align with the values of Indeed.

The Solution:
Pride 2022 is designed to tell the real story of people’s journeys to their true selves. It’s not just a march or a float– it’s designed to make an emotional and genuine connection. We accomplished this through internal activations, video stories, a compilation video, parades with a bicycle powered Indeed float at each location, festivals, and social media outreach. We designed a programme that could be replicated across multiple sites and within budget.
We took a grassroots approach and paid homage to the hard work it has taken to make the world more inclusive – beginning with the 70’s and infusing it with the progress made to 2022.
Our goal was to highlight the Indeed ESG mission, which meant that we were mindful of the environment and used organic, recyclable, sustainable, biodegradable, repurposed materials wherever possible.

Cork City Council – Cork City Marathon 2022

Challenge:
Deliver both the first externally run edition of the Cork City Marathon

The Solution:
We consulted with previous organisers and then designed and delivered the Cork City Marathon in a way that preserved the traditions of the marathon while enhancing the experience for the runners and attendees. This included a relay race, half marathon and full marathon for 12,000 racers and a race expo and registration held in the run up to the race itself. Covid impacted the planning time and supply chains so the team worked efficiently with the allotted time and used creative problem solving skills to source any required materials.

The Arts Council of Ireland – Places Matter Conference 2022

Challenge:
Deliver an in-person conference using both existing and temporary structures which are environmentally conscious and accessible.

The Solution:
We reviewed the accessibility obstacles potential attendees could experience and problem solved how to remove or reduce them. The two day conference was a hybrid model with in person attendees and a series of online sessions and live streaming to accommodate a remote audience or speaker. Those with any access requirements, such as the need for Wheelchair access, an ISL Interpreter, Induction Loop System were all catered for. As the goal was for the Arts Council to have a green conference, we implemented strategies such as digital programmes, re-using lanyards, and local suppliers. The programme and site layout also factored in complementing the visual art exhibitions throughout the sites.

Dublin City Council – Culture Night 2021

Challenge:
Deliver a varied and appealing programme of online events and in person events across multiple sites.

The Solution:
Davis Events Agency worked alongside Culture Night Dublin in producing and managing in person and online programming across the following areas:

Davis Events Agency also provided queue management solutions for the following locations:

● Rooftop Performances with Dublin Bus/DoDublin

As these programming pieces were components that had to slot into the overall Culture Night, communication was really important with the Culture Night Dublin team and partners for seamless delivery and effective queue and traffic management.

Kildare Culture – Come Back Christmas Festival 2021

Challenge:
Record, produce and stream a Comeback festival featuring Irish talent performing in an intimate Kildare venue that showcases and supports the county’s incredible musical diversity and talent.

The Solution:
Across six days, ten concerts were performed and recorded in Kildare venues with featured performers including Celine Byrne, Loah, Pillow Queens, Jack L and Eimear Quinn. Highly skilled, local events workers were employed to deliver these events and produce high quality videos with viewership figures hitting over 116K. This festival helped support employment and wellbeing in the commercial arts and culture sectors and showcased Kildare talent on a local, national and international level.
