Santa arrived at Arnotts on the 15th of November! Santa is currently in his special grotto, located on the top floor, where he is meeting and greet children from all over the country, spreading festive cheer right up until Christmas Eve.
Also this year Arnotts has announced that they have included Temple Street Children’s Hospital in their Christmas wishes and they will be raising funds in store and also donating all the toys from their infamous Christmas window to its little patients.
Arnotts this year have a new system that will take the stress out of seeing Santa! The new system sends you a text to let you know when it’s your turn to see Santa! Amazing!

This years Dún Laoghaire Christmas Market will provide a beautifully warm and welcoming atmosphere. There will be 20 seasonal wooden chalets hosting a wonderful range of artisan food & craft offerings.
In addition to the Christmas Market at the Maritime, the Museum will also play host to a number of seasonal concerts, events, children’s arts and crafts, plays & magic shows to coincide with market hours, full details of which will be available from their site. In addition to all of this Santa will make his big arrival to a firework display on the 21st of December!

Come see the stars at Dundrum Town Centre on the 26th of November at 5:30pm. There will be a BIG surprise as well as street entertainers, face painting and carol singers for the whole family to enjoy! Don’t forget that Dundrums on Ice is back better than ever until the 10th of Jan 2016. Tickets are from €11.

This event will take place on Smithfield Square as part of the overall Christmas event in Dublin city centre! A festive community based Christmas lighting celebration is always produced. The event will contain live music from some familiar faces such as Paddy Casey, the Original Rude Boys and the Geddes! Everyone enjoys the lighting of the lights and the live acts every year. It certainly will give a kick start to your Christmas cheer!

With a focus on supporting Irish businesses, traders, craftspeople, producers and charities, I BELIEVE™ will run for 28 days in the lead-up to Christmas from Thursday, 26th November until Wednesday, 23rd December at the exceptional setting of Custom House Quarter in Dublin, which includes George’s Dock, The CHQ Building and its surrounding area.
I BELIEVE™ will be Ireland’s first winter food, drink, craft and horticulture festival centered on what will be the country’s most iconic Christmas tree, donated by Coillte to the people of Ireland. Standing at 50 foot tall, it will be inspired by the 82-year tradition behind the world-famous Rockefeller Tree in New York.

O Connell Street will glow beautifully this year like past years! Mayor Críona Ní Dhálaigh will be lighting up O’ Connell Streets Famous Tree. Al Porter will be presenting the event with live music from some familiar faces such as Melanie McCabe, Hometown, Dustin the Turkey and Dublin Gospel Choir! Remember to wrap up warm, in a Geansaí Nollaig (for later!) so you can enjoy the wonderful Christmas atmosphere. Switching on the Christmas tree lights in O’ Connell Street has been a huge part of Christmas in Dublin for many years, and is one of the city’s landmark events in the run up to Christmas.
